MLB – 2013 World Series Odds Review

MLB Betting – 2013 World Series Odds Review

If the 2013 MLB season is anything like 2012, then the online sports book experts are going to lose their minds trying to keep up with the World Series futures. The Detroit Tigers were expected to perform well in the playoffs, but the San Francisco Giants kind of came out of nowhere and really upset the apple cart. Can the Giants repeat? US Online Casino experts love to make the defending champ the favorite for the coming season, but 2013 is a little different.

Los Angeles Angels (World Series Odds: 17-2)

The betting sites are really expecting this superstar-packed Angels’ lineup to deliver in 2013. The Angels had flashes of brilliance last season but, aside from the extremely impressive names on the Los Angeles roster, there was nothing to indicate that this team will be able to compete for a world championship.

Los Angeles Dodgers (World Series Odds: 17-2)

While the Los Angeles Dodgers also have a power-packed roster, there is still enough instability in the bullpen to think that the Dodgers will not be a World Series champion this season. But as sports betting goes, the Dodgers would be a better pick to win the World Series in 2013 than the Los Angeles Angels.

Toronto Blue Jays (World Series Odds: 15-2)

The Blue Jays is like that NFL rookie that everyone wants to pay all the money to before he ever accomplishes anything. The Toronto Blue Jays has put together a stellar lineup that should be exciting for fans to watch, but there were more holes in the Blue Jays roster than were filled this offseason. Toronto still lacks middle relief and the infield is still in transition. The Blue Jays will be better in 2013, but it won’t be a World Series contender.

Washington Nationals (World Series Odds: 9-1)

If you had to choose one early NL favorite to make it to the World Series, then it would be the Washington Nationals. With a few offseason moves, the Nationals made a good bullpen even better. This is still one of the best starting rotations in baseball, and Stephen Strasburg will pitch in the playoffs in 2013. If the Nats can keep its hitting together, then this should be your odds-on favorite to win the World Series.

Detroit Tigers (World Series Odds: 10-1)

A lot of things can happen to a good ball team between spring training and the playoffs. But if the Detroit Tigers can keep its act together, then this will be the team that faces the Washington Nationals in the World Series. Detroit has all of the hitting, pitching and fielding it needs to dominate the AL again in 2013. The problem with Detroit is that ace pitcher Justin Verlander chokes in the World Series, and that trend does not look like it will be ending any time soon.

Here is the Bet On Sports  Sports Stats. between the teams
